If you are looking for a customized Medi-Kool system, you’ve come to the right place. In fact, we are the originators of the entire system. Every Medi-Kool system is manufactured from top grade, sterile stainless steel. Our employees are experts with an average work history of 10+ years at Mermaid Manufacturing. We have earned our trusted reputation in the medical industry and we work diligently to keep it.
Every unit is made to the same exacting performance standards. The only difference between the systems is size. We offer over 30 different size units to fit different applications. If you can’t find what you need, we can custom build a cabinet for you for a small additional engineering fee.

MEDI-KOOL MICRO/H (Micro & Saline Depth)
The smallest, most efficient refrigeration unit available. Compressor can be mounted to the rear,right, left or the top of the unit. Door can be hinged right or left.
MEDI-KOOL MICRO/V (Micro & Saline Depth)
Closely related to our MK-Micro/H Micro Depth unit, the difference is that this cabinet is assembled on its side for different dimension requirements. Compressor can be mounted to the rear, right, left, or the top of the unit. Door can be hinged right or left.
MEDI-KOOL SALINE SS (Micro & Saline Depth)
This unit was developed specifically to store saline for the induced Hypothermia Protocol. As of 2015 these units cannot operate in a “Cool only” style. This unit is now temperature controlled as all the others . Compressor can be mounted to the rear , right, left or top of the unit. Door can be hinged top or bottom.
MEDI-KOOL 1.5 SS
This unit is ideal for the ALS cabinet or in a space where smaller climate controlled needs arise. It is available with the compressor on the rear, right ,left, top. An optional pull out drawer is available for purchase. Door can be hinged top or bottom.
MEDI-KOOL 1.8 SS
Similar to the MK 1.5 , this unit has the same width and height , but is 7″ deeper. It is available with the compressor on the rear, right, left or top. An optional pull out drawer is also available for purchase. Door can be hinged top or bottom.
MEDI-KOOL 2.0 SS
This unit is our very attractive workhorse model and is our most popular unit. Compressor can be mounted rear, right, left or top and the hinge can be located on the left or right. Adjustable vented shelf is included. Door can be hinged left or right
MEDI-KOOL 4.0 SS
This unit is designed to hold extremely large drug bags. Compressor can be mounted rear, right, left or top. Adjustable vented shelf is included. Door can be hinged right or left.
MEDI-KOOL CHIEF SS
This is a “Stand Alone Unit” and is designed to be hard mounted to the deck in the back of an SUV or counter space in an ambulance. Made to be hard wired into the vehicles electrical system and is not a portable system. Door can be hinged to the right or the left and the compressor is mounted on the left.
DUAL TEMP HORIZONTAL (Micro & Saline Depth)
A Single unit with two sections. Both sections can be set at two separate temperatures, meaning one side can cool while the other heats. Compressors can be mounted t the rear or top of the unit. Please call for alternate compressor options. No door hinge options available.
DUAL TEMP VERTICAL (Micro & Saline Depth)

Installation
If you purchase a Medi-Kool system from us directly, you must arrange for installation yourself. Every unit comes with a detailed installation manual to help you accomplish this. If you prefer to have an expert handle installation, reach out to one of our certified dealers who will order your system and install it upon arrival.

Our 5 Year Warranty
That’s not all you get by doing business with FMMS, however. Medi-Kool products come with our 5 year warranty for parts and service. The Control Board and the Compressor have a 1 year warranty.
If a unit fails within the 1st year, FMMS pays for the parts, service, and shipping costs both ways. During years 2-5, we’ll cover the cost of your repairs as long as you pay the shipping.

All FMMS Marine Air Conditioning Systems (excluding pumps) Medi-Kool (excluding the compressor) and Dehumidifiers carry a 5 year limited warranty. All pumps, Medi-Kool compressors, thermostats, and Remote Refrigeration Units carry a limited 1 year warranty.
